The new Tumo Xcel Heavy Duty drapery system provides the window coverings market a great option for wide windows. With a maximum pulling capacity of up to 120 lbs. per single motor, this unit will cover most drapery requirements. And this already impressive pulling force can be doubled by simply adding a second motor at the opposite end of the system.
The Heavy Duty series motor features all the easy-to-install and environmentally friendly characteristics of the Tumo Xcel system. Truly plug-and-play, this high-powered DC automation system plugs into a standard grounded outlet for power, and features a built-in radio receiver which allows you to eliminate control wires. To install the system, simply plug it in, program the handsender, and you’re ready to go. The strong, yet quiet motor is capable of pulling up to 120 lbs. of drapery fabric or 240 lbs. in tandem. Electronic limits are automatically set, so there is no need to make on-site adjustments.
The versatile radio receiver and electronic processor allow this Tumo to be controlled by radio handsender, low-voltage switch or network. For added flexibility, the easy-to-use programmable radio handsender allows you to control with one handsender up to six systems or up to six groups of systems. The draperies can also be pulled by hand because of cleverly designed electromagnetic disconnects. The Tumo Heavy Duty can be provided as a one-way or a split-draw system.
