|
A.
|
Motors
shall be synchronous planetary drive. A separate motor shall be provided
for each of the tracks. Motors must be wired in tandem to ensure full
switching synchronization. Tandem motor set shall consist of a primary
and a secondary motor. Motors shall operate at constant speed regardless
of load. Motors shall be rated at 30 watts and either 110v/60Hz
or 220v/50Hz and are UL and CSA recognized. Motors shall have
fully encapsulated shock resistant motor coil and are moisture resistant
and fire resistant. Motors shall also have thermal protector for automatic
switch off to prevent overheating. Each primary motor shall be provided
with precision planetary gears and internal limit switches protected
by security cover. The limit switches shall regulate the simultaneous
motor automatic switch-off upon completion of each running cycle for
both motors. |
|
B. |
Drive
Assembly and Return Assembly shall be manufactured from injection
molded plastic. |
|
C.
|
Headrail
shall be manufactured from extruded aluminum 1-3/4" in width,
2" in height with .051" wall thickness. Headrail is also grooved
to accept color-coordinated fabric facing. |
|
D.
|
Screw
drive rod shall be composed of extruded aluminum and pushes the carrier
along the head channel. |
|
E. |
Rotation
drive rod shall also be formed of extruded aluminum and turn the vanes
180 degrees at the end of the cycle. |
|
F.
|
Carriers
shall be manufactured from precision molded acetyl resin to ensure
smooth operation inside head channel. Each carrier shall be spring
loaded and provided with stainless steel metal hook. The carriers
will be no more than .425" (11mm) wide. The carriers shall
rotate to a full 180 degrees for full closure and will be provided
with 150-degree rotation when traversing into stacking position to
provide tight stack and to prevent jamming of louvers. Carriers shall
be provided with built-in slip clutch control. |
|
G. |
Wall
brackets are made of extruded aluminum and fit into headrail slot.
Drilling directly through the headrail center channel shall make ceiling
mount possible. |
| 2.03 |
Controls:
|
|
A. |
The
switching device to activate the system shall be either a BTX switch
for hardwired control or the BTX radio or IR remote control. Multiple
systems shall be controlled either individually or by BTX group controllers
or automatic controllers including sun sensors and programmable digital
timers. Controls can be integrated with home automation, or building
management systems. |
